Damn you Pedigree for bringing out the softy in me!
Pedigree may be crappy food for dogs but their cute dogs and David Duchovny voice over are so damn endearing
Their new commercial is really getting me . I just want to run to that shelter and adopt Echo (who would pass up that face??)

Post a CommentSweet Baby Jesus, I feel the exact same way.
I hate when those people come over to the cage and then
walk away.....the look on Echo's face
I can't wait for the update commercial when he gets adopted.
Oh, jeez... that's so manipulative, but it WORKS, dammit. Then again, I am a sucker and want to adopt every single dog I see. If it wasn't for the boy, I'd have like twenty dogs, a filthy, stinky apartment, and no money. Plus, I'm all for manipulative if the end result is finding homes for sweet little pupsters.
Speaking of manipulative but effective, have you guys seen this? This makes me BAWL every time I see it.
And I normally hate that song, too.
Crap, bad link.
omg that one gets me all the time. The dog at the very end is always the worst...or the one eye kitten
And, I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I can't watch that Animal Police show on Animal Planet. I've never made it through more than five minutes of that show without bawling my eyes out.
Ok, I couldn't even make it throught Whip's link.
Oh seen that last night for the first time. I jsut want to cuddle himup. The one eyed kitten kills me but I have a soft spot for my fellow monoculared pals

Nicky turns 1 Wednesday!
That Pedigree ad has me in tears, and I didn't make it through 10 seconds of Whip's video.
This kind of stuff makes me want to always go through a rescue or a pound to get pets. I can hardly bear to go to the shelters, though, because I want to take them all home and leave tremendously depressed.
The animal police shows make me sad, but they also make me want to beat the ever-living HELL out of some people.
Its always on at the vet's office.
Is Pedigree bad? When we left Bug at the kennel for a month when we first moved here and were living in the motel, they fed him Pedigree and he lost a bunch of wait and stopped his daily puking habit. I thought it was decent...?

When we adopted Basil, the woman who fostered him SWORE by Pedigree, she said it was really good and much more affordable than most other foods. I mean, she wasn't a vet, but she did have like a zillion dogs.
We had to stop feeding it to him when he was diagnosed with his liver disorder, though.
Ok, phew. Thanks, Whip. I mean, it's all we'll feed him. Well, that or Beneful. Because those are the only two foods that seem to help him with the Boston pukey problem. Nutro, Iams, Science Diet, Purina, everything else...puke city.
We fed Pedigree to Aberdeen, and she did really well with it until she just petered out from old age.
Its been awhile since I have used Pedigree and I think they have reformulated. But before their ingredient list was just way out of whack- not enough whole ingredients but more bi-products. So my opinion is probably outdated
they have the best commercials!
