I have a new love affair with.......
.....my George Foreman Grill. Thats right the lean mean cooking machine that knocks the fat out. Not only is George Foreman a kick ass boxer and looks like a Teddy Bear his stupid little appilance works!
Its perfect because I cant have a BBQ and I hate my electric stove (I depise electric). I cooked chicken on it and it was perfection. The only thing was I had to pound the chicken a little so the thickness was even at or below one inch (it was some thick chicken

Post a CommentThe GF grills are handy. When I had my first apt it came in so helpful.
I now have the Wolfgang Puck Panini maker and I love it, maybe more than the GF grill.
I love the GF grill too Jess! The only bad thing is that it is a pain in the @ss to clean. I think that I will upgrade to the new one that has removable grill plates that can go in the dishwasher when I move.
It is a pain isnt it! It took both my mom and I to clean it. Even with the both of us it took forever. But it made delish chicken
It does make great chicken and burgers too but it takes too long to clean.
The best thing to use for cleaning it is those Palmolive pre-soap things? I forgot the name of them.
ooooo Ill look for that Layla.
They come in a plastic box. It's like a disposable wash cloth with soap on them and all you have to do is wet them, scrub the grill parts and take a wet paper towel and wipe the soap off until it's clean.
I loved my ex's George Foreman, I cooked a ton of stuff on that. Then I broke up with him, and lost George forever
Or at least till I stop spending my money on make-up and save up for that...and a Kitchen Aid!
We LOVE our GF grill, too!!
It IS a pain in the ass to clean, though.
When we went to buy one, I talked myself out of the removable plates. Der. SO getting those
next time.
Thanks Layla, I will be sure to give those a try.
Atox who knew that by losing a boyfriend you would also be losing George.
LoL Atox Kitchen Aid was my goal... Now I'm on to make up, thanks to.. SOMEONE.
So true TN, but he was an abusive bastard, George wanted me to leave, but he wanted me to take him with me...no such luck
What were you thinking Jen, think of all the convenience you missed out on.
but I'm not complaining.
What? Do you mean me Layla? Surely you jest!
Well then in that case it was very good that you got out of that relationship even if it meant losing George.
I think Atox, Jen, and Jenna have turned us all into make-up junkies.
Don't worry, George and I will be reunited one day
Yep I have faith that you will. He's usually on sale at Target so you may have to check it out. By the way how are the home renovations coming along? I haven't seen anything posted about it in a while.
Atox- now you can get the George that comes with five different plates. That way you can use George for any situation
I have you to thank Atox for my newly make up obsession. It's on my brain 24-7, I swear.
Im loving the new smilies!!!!

:berry:
I would love for me and george to be able to get down and dirty on all occasions!!
Your Welcome Layla
Atox, get your booty in the chatroom!
I'm trying, but I still have so many unreads!!
I have one, too and LOVE it!! I also adore when my husband says, in his English accent, "the lean, mean, grilling machine" LOL!
Maybe I need to buy me one.
those grills are the best!
I think you do Lisa! It is great and not too expensive.
Last year when all the students were leaving my grandma's street they were throwing a lot of good stuff away, because they didn't need them anymore. Amongst the TV's and really expensive furniture there was also a load of George Foreman grills. I was shocked.
Jess you should use Emeril's chicken rub the next time you make chicken on it, it is delicious.
I know TNgirl, it took a lot of self control for me not to climb in and grab a few things!
I bet! I don't know if I would be able to hold myself back.
