So the pilot light in my heater went out and I dont really know how to relight it. Plus Im kind of afraid of fire. Im pretty much convinced that Im going to burn myself just light a candle.
I guess my Chicken tortilla soup will have to keep warm tonight (plus tons and tons of blankets)
because its the weekend and I really do not like the mangament. If they are open tomorrow (it is a holiday) Ill get Raul the maintance guy to light it.
It will probably get down into the 20's here tonight. California is basically freezing over. My mom said that at her house her outside thermometer cracked and they dogs water froze

I got one of the maintance guys out here. He turned the heater up and it came on. he was like all you have to do is turn this up (like I was stupid ). I told him that I did but saw no pilot light. but whatever I dont have to freeze anymore
My friend has some in her apartment (because she is scared of her wall unit) hers is really nice. Ill ask her tomorrow what kind it is. It is really skinny but heats up nicely
I'm really trying to get back on a normal routine, but since the hubs worked that crazy shift last week it's hard. He tried to wake me up to go to the gym with him today and I wasn't having it.
Instead I slept in until 12:45. :lazy:

Jess, you should invest in a space heater. They're not that expensive, and if this ever happens again, you'll be prepared.
