We have a lot of forgs here too. Luckily there haven't been only in the house! There was one under my tire the other day and I had to get a stick and nudge it so I wouldn't smush it. It looked like the first froggy you found! Icky but so cute!

They hung out on the stoop of my apartment all the time when I lived in GA. A few got into the house, and I'd shriek like a five year old as I chased them around.

OMG that's crazy! I have to say that I would prefer frogs to the prehistoric cockroaches we've got going on in the dirty south.

Ditto, jen. I'd take a frog over a cockroach any day. So would the dogs, they'd have a field day chasing them around.

In Rome, they're called prehistoric cockroaches. 8) I can't get down with "palmetto bugs" that makes them sound like something you'd find in cheesy pastel Florida design motifs. Not like the armored skeevy flying germinators that they are.

wow the blue and silver one is really pretty. i like frogs. not in my house, but i like them. maybe if you had a water area nearby they would go there rather than inside??? even a bowl of it.

Blech! Lucky for me California cockroaches don't fly. And we don't have frogs at the beach.

Sticky I live like a quarter of a mile from the beach but Im also in the mountains.....Central Cali coastal areas are weird. Im way to use to SoCal beaches where everything is covered with buildings

awwwww I would love to send them to Mikey but they probably wont make the journey Then he will be scarred for life and that would not be nice

Alas they would not make it and Mike would scream as he does everytime he sees a bug a lizard or anything remotely dirty haha

We have tree frogs all over the damn place!! But I'll take them over palmetto bugs any day!! Love bugs are really too.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, here in the plains I don't have any of this frog or flying cockroach nonsense...just mosquitoes....effing mosquitos!!!

You're a much braver girl than I am, catching them and releasing them. We've had frogs and gekkos and lizards in my parents' house before. I learned by watching my mom to find an encyclopedia and drop it smack on top of them from a very high altitude to remedy the situation!

Hahaha sasha, they should be the state bird for KS as well I swear, the things are relentless!! I guess we also have a ton of locusts (sp? who's that?) and june bugs too.

My bff and I used to dig up toads at the creek that ran through my hometown, we lost one in my bff's house once...her mom was soooooooo happy with us

You are dealing with a lot of frogs! Sounds like your handling everything great, though. I like the fact you have your frog catching routine down.
