Post a CommentAwesome list!
I'd have to add Golda Meir, Amelia Earhart, Toni Morrison, and Alice Walker, off the top of my head.
That's sad about Diane Foss.
I updated my info on Fossey because I just did some reading on her
There is no actual proof that poachers killed her- although they had good motive. A lot of the evidence points to someone who actually knew her. Although a student of hers was arrested he was a scapegoat and to this day nobody really knows who killed her
That is really sad about Diane Fossey.
I didn't know that Jess. You made an excellent list!!
for Women!!
Wow- great list! I have to add Martha Washington. She was smart, strong, and a true partner to her husband. She brought a lot to their marriage, and George truly valued her opinion. PM me if you want to know more! I'm gonna copy this list and go to the library soon!
My fav so far is Boudica. She was seriously amazing. to take her small celtic tribe and revolt against the Roman occupation in Britain is crazy
I would add Agatha Christie but that's just because I like her, and we share the name
